it is best because it covers not only the up gradation of processes from manufacturing point of view but also covers the customer satisfaction which is initial stage of six sigma. in case of TQM it first creates quality in whole organization and then start driving it towards customer satisfaction.

Six Sigma's effectiveness can also be traced to its inherent nature that lays stress on following a data driven approach. Following this approach helps a lot because it basically eliminates the chances of human errors that might occur during the implementation phase.
