We are very well aware about wellness-fitness centre and many people (Male0female) has change their  morning-evening health schedule as well as more follow towads various health and wellness centre. Like other industry, health & wellness industry is taking growth and entered in indian market very aggressively within 3 years. Health and wellness industry has created awarenes very aggressively and people are also moved towards there. If you observed that within 3 years, many wellness centre, fitness centre, gym centre are opened in all metro city of india.

We can also say that  the growth of wellness industry is going too much high as compared to traditional exercise. It can also say that there is not growth or degrowth but stability is there in traditional exercise. People who are in age group between 30-45 years (70% female - 30 % male approx.) going to wellness - fitness centre. People who are age group 50-70 years going to traditional exercise (Walking, jogging, yoga, aasan etc.). Some people are attend both.

So, which is more effective for health either wellness or Traditional exercise?

Traditional exercise is most effective and give reliable result as compared to fitness centre. If you will control on junk food etc. and regular yoga, various aasan, walking, pranayam then no need any fitness centre. Time & trend is changed, various tools are available in market and fitness centre, so people are more believe in that exercise which is available in various body-health centre. Some times it shown as status for luxurious class, upper middle class.  So many advertise are coming daily in news paper, hoarding, cable ad etc. What you say.... give your opinion, it is really important....for all...

Traditional exercise is the best way to stay fit in life always. Because of time constraints someone may not get time to go for Wellness-fitness centre but u can do few exercises daily on ur own at home.

I am for the Wellness-fitness centre because of IT boom and shifts in Duty Working hours.My contention is we have to burn our calories and if economic costs is a constrain then morning or evening brisk walk exclusively of 30 minutes to 45 minutes is a must. Walk like a King (WALKING)

It is actually a combination of both. Wellness centres are a result of shortage of time. But the best all round exercise that a person could get is swimming or all round games like basketball where you run, stretch and jump.

traditional exercise is best.A recent study, by Youngstown State University in Ohio, has found that rigorous exercises wont do weight loss or flatten abs. more than wellness exercises, yoga and pranayama taught by a right person will work. after exercise one should not feel tired but should be active and energetic. i am doing yoga from 5 years and it is effective if we follow the correct steps.

Exercise, traditional or modern, alone will never maintain good health. It must be coupled with good eating and living habits topay off. From personal experience i find that brisk walking (10 to 12 mins per km) for about 40 to 45 minutes perday for at least 5 days of the week when coupled with healthy eating habits (reduce - not eliminate - the frequency of fried/fatty and fast foods ) works very well. The most important thing is that your body improves in a gradual manner which is sustainable.

Traditional exercises are good, however there is more attraction to the fitness center where people practice through machines/apparatus. The fitness center should give proper guidance to the participants on the methodology to use the machines in order to avoid the side effects.
