i ll go with the direct marketing. though it is costly bt more effective than internet mktg. In direct marketing u can directly approach to the customer n more precisely u can understand the problems than internet marketing. most important thing is that the customer feels good.

What is your reachability in terms of direct one on one without internet marketing.  With today's trend, to get a lead in a wide variety of segments, may it be in retail, industrial etc the first step is Internet Marketing.  Once there is a lead then we can take it forward through direct marketing.  So my argument is that the both are equally important.  Looking into the ice breaker or the first contact, Internet marketing is better and to take it forward, we need to use direct marketing.
