I am comfortable with Firefox than IE. It is much faster than IE and has many feature and add-ons. It supports all the platform !!!!

I even tried the IE 8 it is not as good ans Firefox...... and the new release of Firefox is simply superb !!!!

The reason why I am supporting IE is only because of the security reasons. In case you are making any online transaction, IE is a must for security as all protocols adhere to MS standards.

If we talk of surfing alone, no doubt FireFox, Opera and Chrome are all faster and easy to operate.!

Without much doubt FF scores over IE. As far as the security aspect is concerned some users are having the wrong impression that IE is safer, in fact it is the opposite. With myself being a MS technology web developer I know some of the loop holes that IE has. Apart from that one could easily see the number of patches that MS releases to cover up security loopholes in IE. Haven't heard much of security patches for FF.

As far as the user-friendliness goes FF scores better here as well, with I myself seeing many users changing their choice to FF from being a IE user.

So users if anybody is still using IE (5.0 being the most unsafe) think about changing to FF especially for online monetary transactions.

All Browser are best in itself but the purpose are most point. Why you using browser. for business only, for entertainment, for emailing. when i calculate i get find that Mozilla Firefox have more satisfaction then IE. If i advice to anybody for using browser then i will say that Mozilla is best then other.

Firefox is really like a fox. It has the entire advantages, then why we need to for IE, where we feel more complexity...

A product will be a hit, on the basis of its comfort factor with the user. Not everybody is security conscious or have need for one. with its themes addons, mozilla firefox out scroes all other browser. but chrome might challenge the firefox status

IE: 

IE is the best option for applications. It provides lot of scope in using ActiveX controls like Grid, Tree, Ultra Grid and OWC.

Good in security

Good in rendering JavaScript

 Mozilla:

Mozilla good in browsing

Rendering the CSS

It has too many good add-ins are available like FireBug 

 

The bottom line its purely depends on the user and system needs.
