Which ORM to use for symfony php framework

I am not an expert either in doctrine or propel BUT when you say doctrine, here are some things that comes to my mind:  

Doctrine: Extremely powerful,learning curve is too steep,very little documentation, lots of bugs especially with Oracle,small community of users, developer should have extreme patience and good amount of time to play with it atleast initially.

Propel: Easier to use than doctrine, has been here for a while, less buggy than doctrine.

They say that doctrine is the future, especially with Symfony.

My Suggestion is: If you do not know propel, then learn to use doctrine BUT if you already know propel then you should make a decision about whether to switch to doctrine.
