While working in private sector, wheather a employee should work practically or threotically or there is any middle way?

Argument is not clear, for me the work is only the work and it is mastered with the theoretical knowledge and also practical experience, and i am also not aware of what it this middle way? like mid-wife!!

for any work to start is is very important to learn about it. "People quickly forgets how fast you did your work but people appreciates how well you did the work".

so to do well a person must have theory first then practical approach. theory leads to, how can we make practical approach for a situation.

I Think the person which can convert the theoretical knowledge into a practical work is more capable. What did you think guys. Please give your opinion.
