Marketing people earn more depending on their company norms,the experience they posses..where as finance people are constrained in to office sapce.they do not have the opportunity to earn more when compared to Marketers.Marketing is a good and interesting job.Only those who love their job despite of burning hot sun,gushy roads and bad weather.Marketing needs smart work and finance needs hard work..tats it..

Right. I am agree with Sushant as Marketing people have more parameters to work on and gain as much as possible without any loss what the financial people see or face. the tactics are always challenging in Marketing and good to learn in a very practical environment.
