In my openion there is a failure on the part of state government. They are interested in their politics and chair and not caring the feelings of the Kashmiries.Government of India is spending a lot of money for the Kashmir but still there is no improvement in the conditions. They should create such a environment which does not require and CRPF and Security Forces at all.

state govt. is loosing its grip over the public due to political disturbance and root cause is our very own first prime minister of india - pandit jawaharlal nehru as he signed the shimla agreement. so we lost half of the crown - kashmir what we see in map is not the real one the left half is pakisthan occupied kashmir. pakisthan think to occupy rest of kashmir so that if they have the head of snake then rest of body is automatically be in their grip.

State govt as well as central govt should take the responsibility of failure in kashmir issues. I think both are not serious about the kashmir issues being resolved. Both are playing safe to secure thier position. They are more concerned about thier position than resolving issues in kashmir.

Your statement is correct Swetha. But, it is futile to expect any positive step from Mufti Mohmed or his daughter. These two have secret separatist ambitions and they are more dangerous than Hurriat group. There is another angle to this problem. The agitation and stone pelting has become a lucrative business in Kashmir. These agitators get paid for each stone they throw. There is no reason to believe that, the agitators represent comon people of Kashmir.

You are to the point Swetha on the subject. I think a rational approach by Mufti Mohd. will probably change the scene in Kashmir.

Yes swetha, it is utter failure of state govt. The present govt. has no clearcut policy on curbing this menance. State govt.should hv firm policy & strategy in place with clear cut rules against politicians irrespective of their affiliation to parties to be bkd under national security act, who is causing the frenzy among the uneducated, unemployed youth by whipping their emotions for their political gain. This is going on due to one-up-menship b.w. so called pro India and anti-India Group. The later is in minority & loosing their hold on the people, due to frustration they r encouraging anti-social elements to create the violent disturbances. State Govt must deal sternly with these anti-social elements & their supporters & ensure that all the central govt. assistance to be implemented properly to reach the common man.

I fully agree with Swetha`s opinion anywhere in India its the so called politicians who have a key role to play with this kind of activity. If today a good politician who does not have any vested interest with them wants these activities to be stopped it can be done but either they are coming in the way or somehow the human rights people budge in in protest.

Our constitution and Central Govt. jointly have to decide how long Kashmir should be treated specially as a 'sensitive territory' in the name of security? What rule makes a Kashmiri a 'Kashmiri' and the rest of Indian's as Indian?

Actually State Government, the Central Government & the Localites are failing. But the Image of CRPF is getting spoiled because of lack of action taken.

Its difficult to pin point any person or organization to be held responsible for the recent (or the past) unrest, I suppose. Its a very complicated issue & needs to be dealt with multi prong approach & strategy. Secondly I personally feel that CRPF,,,who are sacrificing their lives in their line of duty like the recent cases in C'garh, should not at all be dragged into all of this blame game.
As obvious the CRPF don't act in their own discretion & in fact are governed by civil authorities. Instead pointing figures to them we should be concerned with their security, resources & their families as they have been working in such hostile or alienated conditions & making the supreme sacrifice. Its very pity, I feel to corner the issues as such. Thanks for the referral Swetha.

I WILL SAY NEITHER... IN KASHMIR FAITH IS FAILING... IN KASHMIR TRUST IS FAILING... If this is the case, the rest are bound to Fail. They feel betrayed as Promises have not been honoured & all Governments have USED KASHMIR, AS A POLITICAL OBJECTIVE... to gain unruly means & keep chewing the matter till it sucks.
