Who is more capable of increasing the Indian Economy? Successful Businessman or Successful Celebrity?

no doubt the succesful businessman can increase the indian economy,second comes the celebrities.

An unbelievable proportion of talented persons in different fields are engaged in irrelevant activities compared to their talent area.   These people, if engaged in their talent/strength area, can turn the economy around and take it to greatest levels!!  Any support from successful businessmen or celebrities is welcome!!!

Celebrities are what celebrity does ..... best!! ACT... 

But then they can best be used as AMBASSADORS for our cause. They can be USED to impress and SPREAD the good word.

Businessmen are reps of the ECONOMY of our country. By Businessmen I mean the enterprises or SBU's that are thriving over and above the economic global businesses from our country's stable. They are the largest contribuitors to our country's health and the GDP that we project. I think its a one sided argument. It has to be the Businessman who has the capacity nd the capability!!

Now coming to bigger aspects like Ratan Tata, Vijay Mallya or Laxmi Mittal... They are TRUE celebrities because they are the BUSINESS interests of our nation. They are the ones who truly place us on the economic platform in the global scenario. They are the WEALTH MINISTERS of the country. They are TRUE celebs!1 Glamor can be a shine to an extent!! Beyond the glam there is a sham that is called the PLASTIC world. They only fend for themselves and not in the bigger interests!! Its BUSINESS for all anyway! :)

When it is a question of national interest, both act as spokesperson of the nation, so we should not say celebrities or business persons are uplifting the economy more. Both play their part.Moreover, who can say that business persons like Ratan Tata, Lakshmi Mital, Indrani Nooyi, Ambani brothers, Sunil Bharti Mittal, Vijay Malya etc. are not celebrities in their own right?

both of them are not responsible, its consumer who is going to revive the economy if he is not there both celebrities and Businessman can't do anything, so consumer is the king if he wants he can make a ordinary person a successful celebrity or a successfull businessman, but with the two options above its more got to do with Businessmen than celebrity, competitive businesses revive economy than celebrities according to me.

I beg to differ that celebrities are more significant in increasing the Indian economy. There are more than hundred reasons why Indian Economy is growing. Starting from cheap labour, which forms the foundation of service sector, our vast human resource, which means skilled manpower. Because of its human resource India gets a huge domestic market, which will keep Indian economy running, even if world market breaks down.

Now coming to the main topic of our discussion, a successfull businessman develops the country. The famous Tatas, they not only became a strong backbone of today's economy, they helped in establishing a Industrial township-TataNagar which is today's Jamshedpur.

The income brought in by celebrities, becomes part of their national income. This ,Ibelieve, will be just two to three per cent of of the total contribution to national income.
