I do agree that the public chose their representatives in politicians, but does that justify the later breach of trust on the part of the politicians by what they do?? False promises, breach of trust do only to tarnish the image of the nation

i agree with mr.manjunath a.v., we are the people livig in democratic country. where we have the right to select the leaders but we fail to do so because the person we select are corrupted and i don't think we can find the corruptin less politicians. better we stand for elections.

public is wrong, who is entertaining all idiotic things, and falling on theirs feet for least benefits and loosing 100 times more inturn. we are the people who are selecting wrong candidates to rule our country. we are the people who are expecting for better ruler for better world since 1947, but least bothered about precautions, steps in taking to bring our dream come true and bringing corrupted people in ruling. we are wrong not politicians.

Its like asking which one of them came first - egg or chicken?..Well, both public and politicians are wrong and both cannot be done away with to curb the wrong-doings of the politicians..err...public...err...politicians...so its simple, both are wrong.

The public chooses politicians because of all the wrong reasons -- (a)because the candidate is from a particular caste/creed/community or because the candidate is not from a particular caste/creed/community (b)because the public gets swayed by sentiments-especially hatred. Also people aspire for their children to become doctors/engineers but don't aspire for their educated children to become honest politicians who encourage development, and reject intolerance on the name ofcaste/creed/community. If such trends continue among the public, then it is the public who must be blamed not the politician.

I think you all will comment for politicians, but please tell me who are politicians?? These peoples also from public itself, before blaiming to anyone we should just think about ourself, Are we right? Are we doing our work properly? Who is promoting corruption? Who give bribe? Friends it is very easy to point out others but we are also not perfect. It would be better to do your part of work first, most of us(public) don't vote, WHY? and later we point out politicians.
