I have to take this side here. A person who votes is a common man and the person who now is a politician too was once a common man. Then as he entered politics things changed and slowly and gradually he became what he is today.

This is the practical problem that we have to elect the best among the worst politicians in our country. In our country no politicians are free from corruption or any other malpractices. Let us hope time will change this scenario. Thanks for the referral Mr.Anand, Ms.Shalini, and Ms.Ravali.

We should elect the leaders and not common man. We are checking a better option only while choosing our leaders. Select a representative of a political party whose ideology is matching with yours.

1. We have a choice of electing one of the contestants , but we have no choice but to vote. 2. Good people do not want to contest, because good people are not voting. 3. If u want a good candidate, candidates have to know that u r there to vote. 4. therefore first duty is on us to start voting. 5. Then persuade good candidates to contest. 6.That will reduce the opportunities for not so good candidates.

If we had to the authority to "select", we would have selected the right one! Unfortuantely, we are supposed to "ELECT", there we are failing!

CASTING OUR VOTE IS OUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT. BUT WHAT IS BOTHERING US IS GOOD GOVERNANCE AND WHERE IT IS AVAILABLE AND WHO WILL PROVIDE. TAKING YOUR VIEW MORE SERIOUSLY MY ONE AND THE ONLY SUGGESTION IS TWO PARTY SYSTEM AND PREFERABLY PRESIDENTIAL FORM OF GOVT. I FOR ONE WILL ALWAYS BELIEVE IN TRUE DEMOCRACY. BUT THE QUESTION AT THIS PRESENT JUNCTURE WHO WILL DO WHAT, HOW , WHERE , WHEN , WHY AND FINALLY TO WHOM

Obviously, we will vote for a Political party that has a good system & earned support of the mass. We can also vote for a representative of Common man, provided he has achieved remarkable services for the mass & stands, strongly committed to a goal for which he has all the supports & resources.

Thanks for referral Shalini.

Thanks Anand for referral. but once again i dont see your posting. Ravali though I agree with your point of view. The common man you are referring to on entering parliament seen everybody is taking bribe so he has also started taking but today thing are changing thick and fast particularly regarding corruption so now that common man will do his work and will not engage in taking bribe.

Thanks Shalini for referral.

CASTING VOTE IS OUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT BUT WHAT IS BOTHERING US IS GOOD GOVERNANCE AND WHERE IT IS AVAILABLE AND WHO WILL PROVIDE.a REPRESENTATIVE OF COMMON MAN CAN ONLY KNOW THE NEEDS OF COMMON MAN HE OR SHE MAY BE FROM DIFFERENT POLITICAL PARTIES.A GOVERNMENT MUST NOT BE RUN BY LOOKING THE POLITICAL COLOUR. BUT ONE THING MY TEACHER OFTEN USE TO SAY"ALL POLITICIANS ARE CORRUPTED BUT WHO IS LESS HE IS GOOD"

ofcourse, the politicians are once comman men, but they forget to think lika a common man..are n't they?? So what I support for is, the politicians act like a common man and do implement things for a common man using their experience as a politician. Any how, the ultimate winner is a common man..
