Its wrongly been interpreted that females are majorly affected by the crisis. It all depends on the profile and your records. There is pressure on everybody and gender does not play a role here.

The major impact that could be seen is on working females. There has been a cut of jobs in financial sector and all the jobs that has been cut is of female while the males have been recruited with the same speed. Till now it is counted that 777 jobs has been cut for females. The wages had been reduced for them about 16% low.
