I THINK IF SOME COMAPNY START TO GIVE THIER PRODUCTS IN FREE IN VILLAGE EITHER CONSUMER FREINDLY IT WILL WORK HOW MUCH INVEST IN THESE STARS THESE COMPANY CAN DO VERY MUCH CHARITY WITH THERE MONEY INSTEAD OF PAYING BIG MONEY TO STARS. I THINK PRODUCT IS SOLD BY ITS QUALITY NOT BY STARS THESE COMPANY HAVE TO LEARN LESSON FROM SOME NETWORK COMPANIES THAT THEY NEVER ADVERTISE THIER PRODUCTS. THAT MONEY THEY PAID TO STARS IN SUCH MONEY CORPORATE CAN EVEN ADOPT A VILLAGE FOR GROWTH IT CAN HELPFUL TO THIER BUSINESS & COUNTRY TOO.

Kiran Bedi promoting something other than her expertise in police, Amitabh promoting oil,cream etc.,MS Doni promoting cloths etc., are they not misleading people? Do they know all good and bad effects/features of the products they endorse? They must not do these advertisement if they are unaware of every aspect of the product.

They must not endorse other than their expertise. Correct. But other than participating in the advertisement they must make sure and understand its repercussion on the society and all around. Pullela Gopichand - India's famous Badminton player once denied to endorse a product thru advertisement on moral grounds questioning the product's affect on the health. People follow their icons. Celebrities need to keep that in mind.

i agree with you sir but according to time and market something is change need product quality and other things is important comparison to endorse of product .but if you are talking about the current time market situation proper marketing and advertisement also important for promoting the product. because today market is show off market without advrtise you cant imagine your product promotion . thanks

Dear Suresh Prasad, The sole purpose of so termed celebrity is to make money and not educate. If buyers fail to understand this simple fact it is their problem. As for companies if they feel so and such is a celebrity and can promote sales it is their outlook. As a customer it is the buyer who must value one's own resource.

i am not wholly blame to celebrities customer is more responsible than celebrities in this fool making game.customer recognise the product and remember the product due to celebrities.so companies use the celebrities.i dont know from where matter came for celebrities expertise.but in this case customer should be more concious to use products.when customer use the products due to celebrities recomendation and companies will benefitted in it and they will pay regularly to celebrities no one can stop it.
