there are other quality brand like Juniper,  fact to consider cisco is because of  low cost.Hardware wise i support Juniper networks.

we have so many high secuired low cost device like UTM devices and even juniper also producing routers with same performance.But why we opt always cisco products.Time to think .

bcoz Cisco shown controll over broadcast and routing with different network acl

at the earlist.and maintained till date,others are copycats

yes Cisco is the only one product which support every module in network for eg.Vlan support, manging up links,routing,security & more function.

Because cisco has created a brand for its networking services. Today in India cisco tops the networks. So it adds more value to the person. This is the reason everyone prefer cisco :)
