CWG 2010 is a mix of rivalry and publicity gimmick. There are various forces within the committee and outside that may have vested interests that could lead to rivalries. Additionally, as a publicity gimmick and to garner greater publicity, various news items were circulated among all the members.....

CWG 2010 is like a honour for India but due to the greediness of few people and especially politicians it got bad publicity. People engaged in corruption created a wrong impact in the mind of the people.

i am discounting rivalry,because it is inherent to score the point.In any big events there are gaps leading to impression that things are not moving as per program. The "CORRUPTION" a tool  is being used  by vested interest to seek wide publicity .The  bad publicity has scared PSUs  to sponsor the "GAMES' and now entered the corporate world  as the CWG is now house hold name to put their money where it will bring return.

My counter is whether  it is an Intentional Publicity Gimmick or Rivalry.Kindly share.

THE BASIC REASON IS IT WAS CONDUCTED AND ORGANISED BADLY. Had it been organised fairly and with transparency no one would have raised their fingers.

Dear Mr Baksh,

While rivalry could be responsible for let us assume 10 percent the rest is sheer corruption and lack of accountability and thorough mismanagement. There is no need for anyone to waste their efforts at giving bad publicity, to any good work, we have enough bad performers amongst us. Denial never brings any improvement to any situation.

 I am sure once you familiarize yourself with ground realities you will agree neither CAG, nor the press is overdoing their role and the stench is too powerful for anyone to overlook.

WHETHER IT IS BAD OR GOOD PUBLICITY THE MESSAGE IS CLEAR AND LOUD AND TRUE.NO ONE IS PUNISHED FOR DOING WRONG BUT PUNISHED ONLY WHEN THE PERSON IS CAUGHT.RIVALRY WITHIN OC MAY BE THE REASON FOR SO MUCH OF EXPOSURE OF SO MANY INCIDENTS.
