Well Mr.Virag Shah, I could understand your spirit and feeling that would be appreciated by all. Practically speaking, today a group of talented & skilled candidates are not able to get jobs for themselves, despite knocked the doors of several companies and you know their frustration in their lives. It may be noted that the ability or the talent with one can be well brought out only in the job which is the opportunity for people to show or expose. First the candidates should have opportunities to have jobs. Today, the technique in conducting the various tests & interviews in selection procedures defeat the candidates who are well talented and skilled. According to the branch of studies, the candidates may be given the opportunities to have jobs and they cab be trained in line with the company's culture. After completion of successful training they can be absorbed in the regular stream with appropriate pay scale eligible for them. In my opinion our Indian man power is not properly utilized.

In certain companies the recommendations act as a testimonial or creditability/trustworthiness of the candidates. These type of firms normally may not like to conduct various types of screening tests for the candidates.They believe reputed people's recommendations to select a candidate. The reason behind is that it is not so easy to get recommendations from people who will recommend only the deserving candidates. Of course, it is also true that certain people get something for recommendations. In certain cases money power plays a dominant role in HR dept for appointment also. Today most of the companies recruit their candidates through various tough tests & interviews to select the right candidates for the right jobs.

Although ISI mark instruments sometimes also gives shock but we trust on ISI mark with our eyes closed. Companies too have the same tendency to hire a recommended worker whether he has got the talent or not.

I agree with you that you did written abt. recommendation. Not only company but executives are also prefer someone recommendation.The time is change that if you have some reference, company will appoint you definitely but this habit implemented by us, this is fact. But one thing i would like to share all of you that nobody need any reference if you have confidence, efforts, skill, talent, practical market knowledge etc.then why are you afraid? dont loose you efforts. How many company will not appoint you without reference as compared to our country.Count the company. Ask your self that where you need to improve yourself, improve it and GO AHEAD, I have confidence that company will run behind you, ALL the best........
