I think that I speak for most of the people of India when I say, "I am just fed up with the politicians and the corruption." I think this is self explanatory and doesn’t need to be elaborated upon. We all saw the negative sentiment of the people against the politicians after the Mumbai terror attacks. We are living in a country where you can buy almost anything ranging from an election ticket, elected office to a religious post. We cannot organize a simple auction of flats without a scam or run a simple bus service without people getting killed. What more. You can even get away with murder. If you are not fed up then its time to wake up.

Its a good news that some of the common people are interested and actually wanting to enter the system to bring a change.

But what the changes would be like? How will be different from contestants involved in politics for a very long time? What changes can we think of when a person among the general mass becomes the PM of a country or contesting for it? Can we ensure that the corrupton level would be reduced???

Wanted to ask you the followings:

  • how will you address the issues of Security-Health-Education-Judiciary-Water-Electricity & Roads???
  • do you have any criminal background??
  • what is your backing political party? (if any)
  • how will you go about the research, planning and implementation?
  • what will happen if you fail to fulfill the promises?
  • how will you handle international politics?
Asking all thses questions just to quench the thrist of inquisitiveness.

Best of Luck.

if you are intending to contest the election to bring change that is good. But there are other ways too. one is making negative voting a fundamental right. it is my gut feeling that if that is implemented, the voting percentage will goes to 90% which will be huge.

Other than that i have seen peolpe talking about change but when they become the part of the system, they become like the other politicians. Hopefully you will remain the same

"Enough is Enough" this is the thinking that each and every citizen of the country should have towards the hostile situation in our country.Terrorists are attcking the country at their will, people are not getting even the basic amenities and to add to that we have to pay money or should i say bribe even to get our basic rights. All these things need to be changed and the sooner it is the better will be for the country.

I agree with Mr.Gaurav.First you need to change yourself, the environment around which you live and fight for any injustice that is going on of which you are aware, then only one can think of bringing a change in others. So prepare oneself to change and bring the change around you.

There should be an online/some remote voting sytem for those who do not stay at their hometown...otherwise ensuring all people to vote would remain a dream....

Mr.Ahsaan, Jasbaa bahut badiya hai!

But do you fulfill the following requirements to be eligible for the post?

Requirements:

Criminal Background Mandatory.

Involved in Scams minimal.

Serving atleast a sentence for terrorist activity.

Along with these, knowledge or understanding of ways of expanding terror, chaos in new media an asset.

If you do not fulfill the above mentioned requirements badluck. Try the next term elections, by then you will have time to be proficient in the above mentioned faculties, which will get you a ticket for the L.S.contest.Jai Hind!

I will do something about it: We have all heard people say that “Something needs to be done” but nobody ends up doing anything. Even when somebody does something about it, it is at the individual level which becomes interesting to read or hear about but it does not address the root cause of the problem. Well, my first reason for becoming a candidate is that “I have decided to do something about it” in my own small way, that is, I have decided to be a candidate for the Lok Sabha elections in either 2009 or the next election in 2014. I may be a little late for 2009 elections but lets see how it goes.

First if you want to seek a change by contesting polls, bring in the change that is required in your region, fight for them, get them basic amenities, fight for a cause for the public then think about contesting polls, when people know that this person has done something good for us then only they will vote, or else you will also be the same fish in the Indian political pond. Hope you will not be one among them whom we are seeing all these years of Indian politics.
