I am not sure about the sides given but still I have my own opinion for the topic.

Rightly said Mr. Muralidharan.

But do all have this capabily of being an entrepreneur? I doubt..

Anyways getting back to the main question . Lalita.. we cannot help this trend. I have seen that a woman becomes team lead and reaches the stage when she has kids .. if she takes right break of 2 to 3 yrs for her loving child when she returns the ones who used to work under her have equal or sometimes even more power than her. Certainly the men would say that women should not care care about job but about child because they do not see the things the way we do. The MNCs should have different standards for this situation.

MNCs should also see the experience of candidate. there may be various reasons where candidate has to take gap. If the candidate has good industry experience then companies should avoid this.

Avenues and opportunities in India are aplenty for a creative person, why look up to MNCs for jobs. Where the doors of MNCs are shut, your vistas to be an entrepreneur is wide open, explore the territory, you would offer jobs to 100 more!

Women may need to leave the job due to many reasons like marriage,kids etc for some time,but after lets suppose 3-4yrs if she want to try for job then she need to face a lot to get into MNC,due to a long gap.

Agree with you with addition that Man or Woman both can be taken back in main stream provided they can justify the root cause of the Gap in career.
