Microsoft may be looking for a prey in Mobile market worldwide(like Nokia or others) and then innovate with that product. the way they did with dos--windows 3.1,win 95, Internet explorer. but going will be tough as apple and google took it to different heights.

Yes thats true, but recently they have announced the launch of KIN mobile by microsoft.  But as you said it will be difficult for them to reach the mobile market since many are leading there. So it would be good if they join hands with some top players and then penetrate into the market...........
