Hi, I fell in todays contexet there will not be any debate on this issue, as because Raja Rammohan Roy, Iswar Chandra Vidya Sagar had fought for the right of those women who sacrifice herself on the funeral pyre of her husband and later on they have raised there voice in favour of the widow marriages. In India Hindu Widows Re-marriage Act, 1856. GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF LAW was recomended. Therefore, it is quite surprise for me that even in 21st century where live in relation, homo sextuality are the topics which are creating strome in the socity, we are even considering this topics to DEBATE.

Nobody has any control over death. That is the ultimate truth. But because if some one has left this world I believe that life must move on. GOD also has given this message. And if second marriage can bring in Happiness and love that why not. It gives stability to family, society as well as to nation

Widowness is a mere luck but not a fullstop of life. Life goes on and on. And its one chance that a person get to live a kingsize life. This is one of the oldest issue but still exists- shame on us. No rule, no custom, or religion should prohibit a man and woman from expressing their emotion (loving and getting mrried to someone), from wearing some beautifull outfits, eating their favourite cuisine. I think prohibiting these rights to a person who has lost her partner is not only un-ethical but also cruel. On the other hand it is quite shameful for us that there is lot of disparity between man and woman even today(21st century). Right for man and woman should be equal except which is endowed by GOD. Sarcastically no one is going to be benefitted by not allowing marriage of widow.

Any widow has the right to marry another person. A widow getting married is absolutely right if she can put behind her the time with her last husband who died. It's never to look for a replacement, as no-one replaces the man who is lost, but a successor is a different thing. And It is the duty of the society to encourage widow marriage.

Keeping the society aside any widow should be allowed to live normally and take care of all the responsibilities well that could not be taken care of due to demise of her spouse.
If young one should try for her remarriage for security.

Righ on - There is nothing to debate. No sensible person will argue that women shall have lesser rights than men. In my view, the currrent inheritance rules also should change. A widow marrying again shall have the right to retain husband's wealth she became eligible in her earleir marriage/s.
