Will a "Do call" registry affect the Mobile marketing strategy badly?

YES IT MUST FAIL MISERABLY.IT IS A MENTAL TORTURE,CAUSING MENTAL AGONY,INCONVENIENCE TO THE CORE FOR THOSE WHO ARE LEAST INTERESTED TO SPARE THEIR VALUABLE TIME FOR THIS UNSOLICITED,UNWANTED INTRUSION INTO THEIR PRIVACY,NOT ALLOWING THEM TO DO THEIR WORK.IT WILL BE BOON TO SUCH PEOPLE.IT SI LIKE GETTING FREEDOM FROM UNSCRUPULOUS PEOPLE AT ODD HOURS OF DAY ,NIGHT,HOLIDAYS,SUNDAYS.LET THAT DAY COME SOON.FOR THE CONVENIENCE AND BENEFIT OF FEW HUNDREDS MILLIONS ARE SUFFERING,THIS IS BEING DONE IN COLLUSION WITH MOBILE OPERATORS.

Definitely as by this a huge segment of customers is blocked.

But please don't call it marketing strategy, it has been a consumer harassment service, which ran successfully making mockery of government laws and regulations. People could never really got rid of those, no matter how many times and to which ever agency it was complained of. It's a shame, that the laws are created, after the common public have already lost too much because of such business strategies.

It,s really a painful experience for mobile consumers not only telemarketers but mobile companies who have outsourced many VAS services are continuously harassing them to sell some scheme. Many times their call centres do not register complaints of customers despite a clear guideline by TRAI in this regard. Atleast it will give some relief to customers.  

Yes it will have an affect on Mobile marketing strategy for many, atleast 95% of consumers would not opt for this option like allowing telecom to use their numbers for their pesky calls, also Trai, it is considering stern action against mobile operators as they are the ones who have the list of subscribers. Since it is they who are leaking subscribers’ numbers to telemarketers they will have to face the music henceforth. There are suggestions too to impose very hefty fines on mobile operators and telemarketers who persist with these pesky calls.  So, in a way mobile marketing is impacted in a huge way with this "Do call" registry coming into action.
