Will answer engine take over the search engines?

www.trueknowledge.com answers the questions directly. It does not give you references to articles or other pages but directly answers the question and if it does not know the answer it directly gets back with the message "sorry we don't have that information". Anyone can update any information on the site if you think it will be helpful to anyone. This is a new concept and as we all in habit of using search engines since ages it will be interesting to see that how well does this new "answer engine" works. So share your opinions : will the answer engine overtake the search engines?

If it provides the exact result and does not show up with so many links to choose from it will definitely be helpful. The site is new and still so much of information doesn't exist on the site but as time will pass and people will contribute it will definitely takeover the search engines.

I went to the site and wanted to know about Astrology. Below is the answer. But before reading that - there may be many subjects in which a particular word or phrase is referred. Also there may be many solutions to a given particular problem. So giving one answer (or the answer which the site thinks best) may not work and the "Click here for other ..." is like Google.

The days when artificial intelligence truly takes over human intelligence is still far away. The attempts like the below site will help us to achieve that goal. It is now in a very nascent stage.

Answers engines comes thru search engines.like Google, yahoo! so mine answer is NO

No.. Nowadays people are worried about the time. they wont invest their time even to type the "W"s in the answer engines! they likes typing "ABC" instead of "What is ABC?" which will goto the best answers! :)

NO...Because there are so many things depends on the search questions. For ex. there are so many abbreviations for one thing this can not be done through this but search engines can give this. And also for a question has t be typed exactly but in search engines it can be this or that side but it can do it better.....

But, it is not providing the exact results. It is kind of wikianswers.com. When it don't have any result, it asks you back for the answer. It is not even near to quality of search engines.
