Flamboyant, stylish, pinch-hitter in a class of his own. Hair extensions, crazy about bikes and MTV's Youth Icon. Still in his mid-20s, Mahendra Singh Dhoni has redefined the way cricket is played in India, proving that a small-town lineage and the absence of a godfather can't curb the rise of talent

Blame Policy makers of IPL having had just prior to world cup leaving no room to rest. Players are Humans no Robots their muscles/joints/limbs creek and this is expected from day one that they may not make it upthis time around and there are very many chances to fail. Criticism and suggestions are not accepted.

Cricket in India should be independent alike Cricket Australia.

Yes, He is a good leader with a good cricketing brain and knows how to handle his team and is more transparent in his actions.,,a little reality check that we may need! In a country with billions of population he is leading the Indian team and has proven on many occassions by consistently performing. His career is still on a primitive stage and its unfair to judge right now and compare him to all the previous captians who have been playing for more than 20 years.

Dhoni is a pace batsman and this is what it reflects on its personality to be become a fast and successfull captain without being carried away by the few critics, he has shown that he can ambigously rule the fashion world and also cricket side by side.As a captain he has always stood behind his team-mates and made them feel at ease so that they can give better performance in the midst of intense sullen game.

Despite all the hype about Dhoni, he is not a top class batsman, and a below par wicket-keeper. He is young, and has the potential to reach very high standard in both. Instead of that he is being burdened with the captaincy of a controversial Indian cricket team. It will destroy his career like it did for so many other good cricketers before him.

No, he is not going to be a good captain because in 2 ODIs that he played he was playing very slowly and not in his style. Secondly, he does not have that much experience. Moreover his experience outside India is not much and his record outside india is also not too good. Instead Yuvraj could have been the better choice as he has a good record

Dhoni is no 'superman'. He is too young to be the captain. He may turn out to be a 'yes man' for the board politics,

From whatever I have seen of Dhoni, he is going to be another disaster like Dravid. Playing safe is his motto and the team selection in 20-20 in first three games which India has played shows that. He is too young and would find it extremely difficult to assert in a team full of veterans. It will further shorten his career. Imagine India losing 7-0 or 6-1 to Australia and another bad series with Pakistan and the public would be after him. God forbid if he fails as a batsmen he can very well call it quits
