Mr. Pranab Mukherjee the Finance minister of India is all set to present the Budget for 2011-12 on February 28, the expectations are very high and the nation hopes this would be a path-breaking one especially given the various issues at home and the global political as well as economic uncertainties.

Also with the challenges such as inflation, price rise, higher interest rates, globally rising oil prices, and increasing fiscal deficit make it tough for the Finance Ministry to form a balanced budget; however, the budget will try to lighten the disgrace on the government caused by a series of corruption charges.  Will Finance minister deliver on expectations??

I think he will......One of the main focuses of the budget is on the Railways. The Indian railways could not keep up the track record that it had under Lalu Prasad Yadav who had orchestrated a financial turnaround of the Railway department without hiking passenger fares.

Then infrastructure development being the key to future economic growth and to attain 8-10 percent GDP growth, investments in infrastructure will be given topmost importance through dedicated debt funds. Its high time that the government pulls up its socks and delivers what people exactly want and if they stop taking people for granted which they are doing all these years then everything will come out good and Mr. Pranab mukerjee will deliver on many expectations that people are having from this budget....

He is in the ruling party, he is supposed to satisfy the expectations of his followers. May be a few, naturally in the opposite ally, find unfulfilled by the budget proposition. But, we believe his proposal will, by and large, keep the promise fullfiled.

I doubt. His appointment as FM has some political considerations. He will work from that aspect whether it is useful for the people or not has nothing to do for him. I feel the budget is only an arithmetical gimmick. The results are far from the aspirations every time. Growth may be around 9%. But the inflation rate is squeezing.

I am a chronic optimist. Yet, I doubt whether the FM will be considerate to the people, especially salary class except giving some minor concessions here and there. Since DTC is coming into effect by next year, the FM may not take chances this year.

Why!! Test cricket is the best form of cricket and that tests the real power of a player. We should not get lost in glamor and forget the roots should we??
BJP too is forcing him to resign but he is seeking legal options to stay in. No one wants him, everyone knows how corrupt he is still he is not willing to leave! what should this attitude be called? Do you think he will resign at will ?
Yes it can be called inside information from a blog. We cannot the understand the real feeling without facing a similar situation.
