Will HP's slate give a tough competition to Apple's ipad

The Apple iPad’s Oscar debut on millions of TVs may have been the talk of the town Monday morning, but not for long. Rival PC maker HP has launched a sneak attack on the iPad by just releasing a video introducing its tablet called the Slate that will run Windows 7 operating system and support Flash — a jab at the iPad, which will not display Flash-based sites or videos. It gives a full web browsing experience.

It's specs is 9.7-inch display iPad in its design and size abd will offer a full capacitive touchscreen and the familiar pinch-to-zoom gesture. It uses apps such as Pandora and the music player. And like the iPad, it will also display digitized versions of magazines and newspapers. Its cost may range near about $1,500. Its cost may range near about $1,500.

100 % successful coz technology keeps on changing. Every time we refer user friendly with lot of functions and with lot of facilities.  We always look for many functions in one item and I hope this is going to be proved.

I think, this time HP can give tough competition to Apple, with their new product launch HP Slate. The reason for being optimistic, HP Slate has the features which Ipad lacks, such as "webcam", "e-book client" and "multitasking".

The additional drawback for the Ipad is Maximum Operating temperature which is 35°C (info from the apple site), will make it to target only some proportion of the market.

The mechanisms slate has is definitely latest and unique in the market and as a user always seeks for latest technologies, its obvious that since Aplle's iPad doesn't have so many technologies, it will face lot of competition in the market.

Success of consumer devices like tablets depend on unpaid (free / open source) utility or 'Wow' factors. Android based tablets can give the former, while iPad can provide the latter. A Windows based tablet will find it an uphill task to provide either of them, whether it is produced by HP or anyone else.

Competing Apple is not so easy. They have a well established market and loyal customer base. The cost of the iPad is also comparatively cheaper than that of Slate. Thus, its not iPad but Slate who will face challenges to establish itself in the market.
