no, Ipl should just be seen as a sport and Indian cricket players are professional enough to play the sport with sportsmanship spirit and thogh they are divided in IPL as they have to serve their team owners as dedicated employees but when it comes to national level they are as united and strong as a hardrock.

No infact they will know more about the players of another country, how they play , the strengths and weakness This games makes all players share their experience and when these players play world cup they are well aware of the opponents strength and weakness and the experience of IPL will help them a lot

first of all IPL has nothing to do with unity.....Though it is based on regions one should look into the ultimate view of the bonanza.Regionwise young dynamic cricketers talent are recognised and the marketing is done in a unique way.It is a entertainment for 3 hrs.Thats it.u see, when the season ends people will forget the regions and start to cheer the indian team for WC

No IPL is not spoiling the Unity of Indian Cricket team players. That very great opportunity to all new players and also BCCI. Today BCCI given the chance to Vinay Kumar from Bangalore. Why given the chance to Vinay becoz vinayk performanance is very good as compared with Ishant Sharma and Sreeshant. If given the to Vinay by BCCI and not to Ishant and Sreeshant so this is not spoiling the unity this is very great decision for new candidates becoz they will try to show the best performance in International level. This time government received the more and more tax (I think appox 200 crs) from this IPL so this very great to our Indian government, Team Sponsers, BCCI team also will enjoy the Public.

CRICKET LIKE ANY OTHER SPORT WILL INCREASE UNITY AMONG THE PLAYERS.OUR PLAYERS GET AN EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY OF MINGLING WITH PLAYERS FROM VARIOUS OTHER COUNTRIES WHICH IS A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY TO KNOW THEIR STRENGTH WEAKNESS & THEIR STRATEGY.THIS WILL AT ANY TIME HELP OUR PLAYERS.THERE IS NO REASON WHY UNITY AMONG OUR TEAM MEMBERS SHOULD BE AFFECTED.ON THE CONTRARY THEY WILL START COMING CLOSER.

IPL will not spoil the unity in the Indian Cricket team. I am saying this because the individuals in the Indian team also play for different Ranji and Duleep trophy teams. They represent their states in Ranji trophy and their regional zone in Duleep trophy. Hence they are already used to playing against each other for a long time. IPL is a way of having fun and getting paid as well.

Hi Dhesihan, good debate and Kumar I agree with you. Even I don't think it will soil the relationship because it is just a game and more over it helps us to know the weakness of many players, which in future will help us to win. So our players are utilizing this opportunities to strengthen our team and to spoil their unity..... :)
