As in most of the Elections one can easily make out how much money will be spent by the candidates to garner votes, like in the case of Tamil nadu where everybody is getting TVs and whole other things, just to get those votes and even in Karnataka and Andhra pradesh there was huge amount of money used to get votes and also gave ministerial positions who had won the elections purely because they spent more money for the party..In a country which has more than a billion people and nearly 65% of them voting will money power dominate this elections or will people power come into the action?? what are your views on this.

ya agree with Arun that In India The % of Qualified person is low. And politision take advantage of it. The Citizen who dont know the value of our National rights they are running behind money and they sale their VOTE for NOTE. Normaly educated people have their own judgement they can think wht is right and wht is wrong so they never run behind money.

Because, the common man who is a voter does not know the importance of his vote, it is because since our independence till date, there is very less done for educating the rural, poor or common man, so there is not enough awareness or education created about either democracy or voting? so people especially the poor, uneducated, deprived would go with money power?it is very unfortunate and also this is one of the main reason why we, Indians are suffering of poor governance!!

Yes agree with Balakrishna here its always about the money in the end... and people are being cheated by these politicians by providing them money, liquor and food, and then bribing them for their votes, and this is evident as if one goes by the news channels daily, like how much amount of money is being seized on a daily basis..

obviously as we see the news channels  round the clock the people are showing the cash bundles are siezed by police, in andhra pradesh only Rs.23 crores of illegal money is siezed. By this we can tell that money power is dominating this elections

According to me yes, Money will dominate this elections as it has done always, as one can see, where there is more number of MPs getting bought by the top party of the country and, money is the factor which decides whether to give him the ticket to contest for polls or not, until and unless he is a huge public figure. So money will play its crucial part in the coming elections.

I agree with Upendra Sagar that in this elections people exactly know whom to vote and whom not to... Money no more will dominate the election. Thanks to various campaigns run by Jaago re!. We could see millions more are voting this time than last time...

Actually, past elections were dominated by Money only, but present elections are not much. Offcourse there might be somewhere and something, but not much as past elections. Now people are well aware the value of votes and also the consequences of their vote.
