Much praised and known for his risk taking policies Mr Kamath is now there in the place of Mr. Murthy. What do you think about this leadership change? Will he be a ble to recreate the magic here?

IT IS FIRST OF ALL TO PREMATURE TO SAY WEATHER HE WILL DELIVER LIKE MR.MURTHY. AS IN ANY ORGANIZATION HE NEEDS TIME TO SETTLE (LEARNING CURVE) TO UNDERSTAND THE ENTIRE WORKING PATTERN. COMPARISON AT THIS JUNCTURE IS OUT OF THE QUESTION

He certainly carry forward the vision of great NRN, Infosys will always be known by NRN's name no matter who heads the company

Look gentleman, the organizations are built by people like me and you and everyone who puts their sincere, conscious efforts while on role with an aim to carry forward the objectives set by the founders. People like Narayan & Vaman are visionaries and founders and developers of many business processes irrespective of the fact whether it IT or finance or any dam field. I see high success rate after the change because change is is a challenge for Vaman and he will deal it with absolute perfection. Thanks

Yes, his Charismatic leadership can give opportunity to  build a new face of Infosys, but alone he cannot change the dynasty. The board together has to recognize his able stances, and be ready for incorporating the visionary approach, he may pass... then may be we can expect magic ruling in the street favorite Infosys.

As a Chairman, I don't think, he would bring in any radical change in the company. The CEO & MD and the Dy.Chairman are founders and they are very well versed in the management of Infosys, their priorities and positioning. We can't expect any serious change, at least, this financial year. May be in their review committee meetings towards the end of this year, you may expect some suggestions from him as Chairman. Till such time, I don't foresee any magic at INFY! Yes. He can give some value-addition in recovery of past dues!

The Q is irrelevant. Infy like ICICI is already a well established marvel. The best anyone can do is not to ruin it.

I think ICICI Bank got it easy, operating at a protected environment and backed by the government money all the time. Infosys is a different environment: Much more competitive, and based on a different work culture altogether. Mr Kamath may have been successful at ICICI Bank by backing the right horse - in this case Dhirubhai Ambani - but he will find it more difficult choosing and aligning with the right technology, when time comes at Infosys.
