nano technology is already being imported into many things especially in the smart phone/technology industry.  Nano technology boosts battery capacity which both contribute to mankind. think of every pace maker, or medical usage.

Any technology can be a boon or a bane depending on how it is used. There are environmental concerns at the moment about this technology. Since the particles are so minuscule, it can be easily absorbed by the living bodies which is dangerous. The technology is still at its infancy though and its still too soon to decide whether its a boon or a bane for the mankind. I agree that this is one amazing technology that is all set redefine the future and change the shape of things to come - as "Beautiful things come in small packages" but also with some controversies with it......

We will use all devices paper thin and all devices will be like paper.

They could be folded and even could be crushed like paper and be carried in our pocket.
