According to me yes, it will be the same as traditional courses, people who are opting for such courses online are the one's who are more comfortable with e learning and are one's who very much pay attention to the degree which they are getting from the college, it is much better than getting a good degree and a better online course than joining some unrecognised colleges and its certificates which doesn't do good to anybody, and with many of the top colleges having distant learning and have online degree courses for various subjects is helping the tourism and hospitality industry, which is having serious workforce shortage.

No i don't agree with Nirmal ,  Online degree and its courses are way short than the traditional one's which are getting in a proper college like normal degree course which has practicals as well as theories, but in the case of online it is more of only theories than the practical stuff, and in this sector one needs more practical knowledge than theoretical. so the online course is not same as traditional where they have both the knowledge and the students are better equipped with the industry standards that are required.

Yes, and infact they can be more effective with the condition that the student be working in the area. With some experience and being active in the area, one can relate more to practices in reality. This will result in better assimilation as also faster development of the learner where he can understand and apply in practice what he learns.

Degree in Tourism is possible online whilst same does not apply to hospitality as this is more task based and practical orientation is essential to know the subject well. It as well requires skills to be harnessed that is not possible online. At best, only theoretical knowledge can be imparted online.
