I believe praising Jinnah was a strategy by BJP to get Muslim vote bank. BJP is a party which could not succeed for the last 6 years and because of that it is playing every possible tactics to come to power. Earlier also, it tried to get Muslim support by declaring Jinnah as secular, when that did not work, they then tried to ignite the Hindu population of India in the name of Religion and Ram Setu.Still, after loosing the elections, BJP realised, it has already lost its good image among the eyes of Indian population as a Pro-Hindu party and only those types of people will support them. So, it is now again trying to gain Muslim sympathy since it very well knows that Muslim population in India today is not minority and the rate by which Muslims are increasing in India, after 30 years, India will be a Muslim majority country. So BJP is trying to reset its good image in the eyes of Muslim population of India again.

I dont think praising Jinnah will do any good for the BJP. First of all they have to come out of thier fundamental character.

My earlier comment was before expulsion of Jaswant Singh Ji. Read it and you can understand what BJP wanted perhaps and what not. [Anyways fun to see few people draw social issues[Water, electricity, food] when it is BJP but they forget those when Congress comes into pic as if Congress only expell leaders on corporate performance ground like multinational company]

I solely agree, that "Praising Jinnah" will not help BJP in any form. Since, BJP as an Organisation lacks in their "Vision" & "Mission". They have actually forgotten that, in today's world a Rural India(Thats where India Lives) needs basic amenities like Food, Water, Electricity, Helath-Care, House etc more that any "Ram Mandir or Setu". It looks like BJP has completely detached itself from the Ground Realities and still being stuck. I would Suggest BJP, to take Drought & Infaltion as their current agenda. Instead of criticsing they should come up for Help & Support of Common Man likewise they were during the 26/11 attack.

I dont think it is to attract Muslim vote bank, Because BJP & RSS disassociated themselves from this book. Anyways whether BJP needs Muslim votebank to come to power or not--That BJP as a party has to decide. This election defete is a temporary problem or a parmanant--that BJP as a party has to decide. When sun goes down and moon comes out--Does that illustrate SUN is eaten up by demon or not--That BJP as a party has to decide.

Many/almost Muslim are not blind follower of JINNAH ,due to him many muslims were butchered in partition ,and this partition was only to fulfill the wishes of Jinnah, for making him prime minister.,when Pt .Nehru didn't agreed to leave the place Pakistan was formed, and similarly Muslim who knows that B.J.P will never be with them, they are not going to support at any cost.
