if we calculate the average of cigret consuming among smokers then we will get at least 5 sigret per day, an chepest cigret available in market that is without filter & even very hard to consume cost 4rs, so a smoker isspenting or we can say waisting 20 rs per day of indian economy. from this equation you can calculate per day how much money we r waisting of our economy !

Quitting Smoking, drinking, chewing tobacco, gudka, etc. - all will help enhance money availability to offset other major expenditure arising out of purchase of milk, edible oil, vegetables, fruits, groceries, rice, wheat, fees for children, etc. for the entire family! This will help also cleaning the environment around, enabling our children to breath fresh air - No one has the right to pollute the atmosphere!

Smoking is injurious to health. Smoking can certainly be stopped if a smoker really wants to do so but if all smokers of the country stop smoking than it will adversely affect country's revenue growth atleast at the present economic scenerio of our country as crores of money gets into country's revenue collection which is again strongly linked with the economical turn-arouds of our country;hence if revenue growth falls socio-economic condition of a country's population would become worst as visible in the under-developed countries/nations.

all the tobaco companies or sigret , sigar & pipe companies are either totaly forign based or they r importing there meterial from other counteriese so what we r paying for our smoking , is giving direct profit to those countaries not to our countary!!!!!!!!!!

"yes, historically smoking has contributed massively to the tax revenues of governments worldwide, and even in the face of glaring evidence of the dangers to public health, governments have been reluctant to force measures restricting peoples ability to smoke due to fears of reduced revenue.

if smoking is quited then direct loss of revenue is there but indirect it helps a lot to our economy .few examples; patients cancer rate will get down, by this expence of govt on perticular cancer treatment will reduce , second; death rate will reduce, by this the person will live long & earn more and spent his money in market so a rotation of money is there in continunetion and 3rd, the person earning is contribute also on gross production of country etc etc.... i m not a economist but still i have tried to substantiate from my point of view ! any questions r wellcomed !!!
