Debating on such an issue is quite easy. Giving statements that nothing will going to be changed, it's all just like a three hour movie show (as the show gets end raja will be sleeping nice in his bed room), would really change the system? I would be extremely sorry if my upcoming statements hurt someone. Because just being a corporate intellectual, debating and blaming the system wont work anymore. The main problem is not corruption. Main problem is "we all, people of sophisticated, educated and civilized society". We can just blame the politicians and talk about the corruption, even we talk to protest. But i want to ask that just by having a discussion on such things, giving ideas, talking about protest would really going to change anything? In another aspect, common man is also helpless because the powers are in hands of these politicians can deteriorate us up to an extent which we can't even imagine. So whatever CBI is doing, we must appreciate them for their efforts rather than emphasizing on how to criticize them. Secondly, when it comes to change the system, we can't do anything rather than one thing which is a type of solution from my point of view. We must concentrate over our upcoming generation. Every individual of today must encourage their kids to be the part of our system somehow (not everyone of course). We can't change our education system but individual institutions can make some differences. We shouldn't be focusing on giving them lessons on ethics straight away, but we should teach them about how to make paths over hurdles (be ethical but sometime use unethical means for ethics, according to "Lord Krishna" in Geeta). In this way, crowd of good literates might create a difference. It's a long term process for sure but for me it's the only way. Thank you Neelima and take care.

We have to wait and see if he is also prosecuted and punished. Unless the court issues exemplary punishment, corruption will never be curbed. It will be hot for some time and sooner another incident happens then the media would drop this and go after that. Also public memory is quite short when it comes to scandals and corruptions !

No it wont in any way his arrest is actually a very planned one by the congress party, somebody needs to made the escapegoat and he perfectly fitted the bill.Nothing is going to happen to him as no minister has ever been sentenced so far in innumerable scams. This is only a political stunt which unfortunately wont get any mileage.

everyday we read about the corruption and i think corruption in India is endemic and systemic.Taking Raja to task will be of little utility, unless this systemic problem is taken seriously.Unstructured,non-institutionalised political funding is the root cause of corruption in India. This issues should be taken seriously and severe action should be taken along with the change in the system of funding.

Absolutely no, reason being, this is just an exercise to cover up the whole scam as government is on the back foot. With the passage of time, the issue will be in oblivion. Can anyone tell how many top politicians and bureaucrats have been sentenced for corruption? Mayawati, Mulayam, Lalu, Kapoor, Kalmadi, Chavans, Thomas all are enjoying free air, only plundering public wealth. PM, Manmohan Singh is just a mute spectator. Its shame we are not raising our voice against the horrible, corrupt system. We need an uprising, the kind of which is happening in Tunisia and Egypt. We should we agitating on roads to wipe out scamsters and plunderers of this beautiful country.
