The whole media these days is talking a lot about the upcoming marriage of India's Sania Mirza and Pakistan's Shoaib Mallik can be heard everywhere.

http://www.hindustantimes.com/Images/HTEditImages/Images/sania-shoaib.JPG

Both the families are happy with this relation and both the countries seems toi be very excited about this marriage. Though both of them are saying their marriage has nothing to do with Indo-Pak relations, do you think this marriage will do some good to the Indo-Pak relations?

I dont think just one marriage can do any good to the relations two countries share.Marriage is a personal affair and it should not be politicized just because of their professions. As such they intend to stay in a neutral country. The biggest question however lies that how long will this r'ship last??

No! i think. If it was so easy every diplomat from India would be marrying Pakistani gals. And vice versa.. No one knows their both's intention regarding the marriage, But let us hope good for them.

She should surrender HER passport and become a pakistani citizen. If a normal muslim marries a pakistani, it wouldn't matter but she is an  Indian Pride and she is getting married to a pakistani. It's digusting and i must say that while no one can do anything about it since it's her personal choice, we should forget about this like a bad dream. And she married Shoaib Malik, i can't believe that. Also it's high time that we stop talking about improving relations with Pakistan. How much more we should bend??? Our dear neighbour leaves no chance to put us down in every way it can and it's us who always talk about improving relations...Disgusting and shameful. It's an insult to all those brave soldiers who have died for our country while defending it agains the enemy. It's time we accept that we are in a state of WAR with pakistan and should reply with brute force to it's each and every action. We need to learn from ISRAEL. If they kill 1, we should kill their 10. That's the only solution to silence them. I don't know why you all talk about talks, talks and talks all the time.

"When all peaceful means of a resolution have failed, it's righteous and just to draw a sword" This was written to Aurengzeb by Guru Gobind Singh and it's time India takes that approach otherwise innocent people will be killed every other day and we will just discuss. In fact these topics should not be discussed at all. STUPID DEBATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mr.Kiran kumar Reddy,

I pray it could, but I feel the facts are different. Marriage is her personal issue and we all should wish her LONG HAPPY MARRIED LIFE.

  • Pakistan Tennis board started talking and made to shut their mouth, could be momentary.
  • Staying in Dubai, how much concentration she can put to her practice.
  • Ms.Sania may opt for Pakistan's citizenship.
  • No player is permanent, still better keep coming.
  • Internationally her graph is already on a decline.
  • Neither media nor we would discuss Ms.Sania within a month from the day a new star replaces her.

Many a people are worrying about her, is simply because history of Indo-Pak Celebrity marriage is negative. May almighty favor Ms.Sania & she has a LONG HAPPY MARRIED LIFE.

Few more question about her representing India are as under

  1. How many NRIs have represented country?
  2. What does law says about it?
  3. Why are we dependent only on one player?

Stop this kind of debate...

There is no chance that this marriage will make good relationship between India and pak. Some of our political leaders tried to do the same but they got the -ve response. This is the nature of the pak which cannot be rectified.

This is not an Indo-Pak issue, its their personal life and let them live it.It won't make any difference if sania marries to Malik.Media simply wants spice to add up to their news,so they have made this a big issue....

Pakistan is a succulant plant (read nation) that lives on its neighbours, chiefly India. There is no religious, communal, political, humanitarian angle to this relationship. Jadidang Hridayang Tabo, Tadidang Hridayang Mamo -- So Long Your (read India) Heart Beats, That Long Will Beat My (Read Pakistan) Heart. To say in our National Language-- Yeh sab bakowash hai, jaiye, apna apna kam pe dhyan lagaiye.

The contraversy has already started........to which country Sania should play?? Dont take this incident hoping for good relation between India and Pak......On the contrary it is going to intensify the clash among sports loving people of both the countries.

Wait and watch for after marrage effect.

will marriage do good to indo-pak relation?

ithe date has just been announced and the big brothers and funky leaders have aroused from their naps.

it has been a festival for channels which were craving for a big noise making news after womens bill.

politicians and regional leaders have started making a fuss from both countries and beginned debates over silly matters they have been using this situation to grow the hatredness of people for other country. it will not lead to better, but can lead to worsen the situation.

And as we all know the past of Shuaib and Sania , for me this nikkah is just another publicity stunt by another celebrity.

Although marriages are supposed to be personal affairs and do not intend to bring in any closeness in the relationships between India & Pakistan but the topic is in news because both the people are very well known because of their professions and being in the news consistently. So I hope the topic being hot for media especially is likely to bring some discussions and would give some relief to the tension between India & Pakistan although for a short duration till the time the topic is in news. But wouldn't last for long as it is not giving respite from any of the terrorist attacks or past debates and discussions with Pakistan on different issues.
