The demand for Telangana is one of the oldest concerns for a separate state in independent India. It has seen its share of talks and violence since the early 1960s.  Now Srikrishna report is submitted where it has suggested United Andhra. Even after this people in the telangana region and students from the Osmania university are protesting against this.  Will the bifurcation of Telangana as a separate state help for that matter??  Share your views on this...

NO. One more state, one more CM, Cabinet of 50, Governer, more MLAs.. A waste of taxpayers money. The telengana cry is coming largely from politicians and not the people. Splitting of UP into smaller states has only helped politicians, The poor have been left high(er) and dry(er)

we will have no mental tensions first. andhrites are being treated like strangers/intruders in hyderabad. it became difficult to cope with this life style. In colleges and universities, telangana students separating the andhra students, there is no freindship between them. separate unions, no security. from up to down all the telangana people including labour, graduates, professionals, govt. employees, doctors every body mind is polluted by the telangana movement, senselessly humiliating andhrites in every situation and need their state at any cost. In such a situation departing for each others benefits is only good.

Telengana is okay, but TRS demands that Hyderabad should be its capital, there I think political parties will divide. Hyderabad should be declared as "Union Territory" - like "Chandigarh" and both the States should share the capital akin to Punjab and Haryana. Aspirations of Telengana people should be met, as they were the neglected lot all these years, after independence!

dividing never helps Saibal is right we changed many things but our politicians follow the same policy of britishers divide & rule sometimes in name of religion , sometime north south east west & now new trend divide the state by showing them the carrot of progress frankly speaking is there any logic that we can develop if we divide our states more politicians more elections more more scams all in name of progress. When politicians say people from different  state come & destroy our state & blah  Blah politicians plant this in our mind & we run along with it.After some time  when India is divide in around 500 states & these politicians have no issue they will  say lets now we want these 500 states into 500 countries we smart Indian public will react actually they are right for progress we really need our own country because they are different from us we are different people  lets depart.Imagine from these countries even one becomes a country like pakistan all other 499 will be ruined. So lets not forget rather than being from states  like  Maharashtra ,Gujarat ,Andhra or Bihar  we are part of INDIA OUR COUNTRY.We live with Indians not with people from states.I can proudly say i am not from any state but i a m an INDIAN.

Its so sad that we are still in the British Raj where we relish the divide and rule policy of theirs...Create a new state and flush in more money to make the politician's pot-belly even more larger...larger than life perhaps...

We need a United India, not a fragmented India...bifurcating AP into Telangana, Rayalseema and what not, will only lead to its downfall, even if Hyd is added to it...As presented to the media, development is not the excuse to divide the state, but something more sinister in the agenda could be the reason behind such motives...cmon, remember the adage - United we Stand, Divided we fall...lets stand united for the state...for India...atleast.

No. A number will be added in the States.A seperate infrastructure will have to be created for only the own interests of politicians, wastage of "AAM AADMI's MONEY" and the situation will remain more or less same. There will be no appreciable developmen at all. Only the politicians involved in it will develope their own wealth. It is well known to the people of Telangana as well. Only few people guided by the "Intelligent Stupid Politicians" are showing their anger & demand for the same.

No, this will only help opportunist & greedy politicians to mint money and new state will become even worse as it happened in case of Jharkhand and some other new states.

The fiburcation will never help the state and in what way it will help? It is a drama staged by the politicians for the purpose of vote banks.

Thanks for the referral Mr.Ayan.

Irrelevant to the place I belong, I make this statement. Division of Andhra may solve the problem for a little extent of public disturbance but it brings a lot of aches after post division. So it lies in both the divided states. Though the part of Telangana have got more part to deal with starting from the adminstrative aspect new establishment of public orders from its old system. Newly formed never tries to follow the old system. Though they can obtain the new split budget but cannot obtain the constitutional support from the other part of split state. So ranging from Govt sector to pvt sector a lot has to be kept aligned to its new system. So in this new emerged trends of formation it has to face fall of capital values in Civil respect to economic respect. So its firms / organizations within its jurisdiction will see a big gap of economic stability. This would obviously create a disturbance with the split part also. Because a lot of firms are already in ties with those which are in old system. So I believe that instead of going divided it would be good if left united. But it still lies in their desire to have their own independent rules. Looking for final result. We will see what is left for us to prepare for future.

Sometime back I wrote about " people & the development". I quote here.

"When technology is introduced in various industry, we find murky deals / scandals are blossoming at alarming level. I , still, wonder at the development made in Countries like Hongkong (SAR-China), where the population is so thick & Infrastructure is very nice. Anybody who does not even know anything of that country can do away business with little or no difficulty. Virtually , the people are disciplined. Be it for entraining a bus / tram / restaurant / mandir. Mass transportation is excellent . No need to spent time unnecessarily. No where heard of break down of the system. A very well clearly marked signages and directions. No political banners / posters pasted over. No body is expecting a tips. Be it taxi / bus/mall / community hall, magnetic card are accepted. Virtually a money-less , card based payment system. People are environmental conscious. No shop uses polyethylene bags. Evey body use recyclable /degradable paper bags. Even-though, India has good cities like Ooty, Kodikanal, Mussorrie, Nanital, Palampur .But ,can we have, at-least one city as the World has such as London, Tokyo,Hongkong etc. If not the whole Nation, at-least a typical city to show off. Even the disciplined cantonment does not have a system as these cities are having. Let us learn from others & do not dwell too much on democracy as a free entity for Individual cause. It is to be seen that, public trams does not have a urinal/toilets that cause many a nuisance. Moreover eating inside a bus / tram is a penalized crime. See the type of discipline imposed to make the living very comfortable & cozy."

Now, imagine where we all go. Yielding to people makes our living miserable. There is a limit . What Vallabhai Patel was hard struggling to unite is all going in the reverse gear.

Smaller states may be administratively more convenient but the clamor for more and more divisions will leave the country too fragmented that it will end up in chaos and anarchy.

What i am not able to make out is what help and whom is it going to help out.

Land Grabbers will have a nice time.In no time India will have a half century states and more of border problems, riversharing problems. There will be 50+ chief ministers, 50+ state cabinets, 50+ high courts  and many others at a time for india. So now those who are opting politics as a career it seems that opportunities are galore.

There will be many judicial commissions to solve this problem spending years and years on it. So more of jobs for the bureaucrats and Judicial people and more expenditure for Indian government. Tax payers!!! Be Regular and do not hide anything!!!

Telangana should not be separated, because all telugu speaking people should be together. It is all political game. In the name of telangana, the situation and education system in AP is worsening day-by-day. I request all students to be cool & calm on this subject and concentrate on their studies

Sadly the TRS and others who are opining so vociferously for the past year for a division of the state, have stated that the new State must have Hyderabad included too! Yes Hyderabad is a part of the Telangana region, but, in the present reality, in no way can now be considered in that domain. It is now a cosmopolitan town like Mumbai and Bangalore and so cannot be considered a part of any region at all. Let these guys agree to Telangana minus Hyderabad! Students are easy to mislead and the mainhead of the disturbances in the region have been largely based on students coming out onto streets! We have not seen any mass movement of any kind here as most people just want to get on with their lives, providing our politicos will allow them to do so. Many things happened in the past..doesn't mean that the country should not move on!

Why!! Test cricket is the best form of cricket and that tests the real power of a player. We should not get lost in glamor and forget the roots should we??
BJP too is forcing him to resign but he is seeking legal options to stay in. No one wants him, everyone knows how corrupt he is still he is not willing to leave! what should this attitude be called? Do you think he will resign at will ?
