I think time has come when every one should think shifting the commercial capital of india outside Maharastra, may be Bangaluru, or anywhere else. 3 idiots have made the life hell at Maharastra

Definitely if the lion's share of Mumbaikars want thus. Then this is the fate of a set of people that lives in a world of fantasy with animated so called divine images, so called divine books, politicians that shit milk, never erring movie stars, cult, castes, creed and what not? Amusing that these people see life in a way two ruffians rub shoulders at a pan shop for priority. Not just Mumbai, is not something brewing in Tamil Nadu (only an army truck load was put to arson. Don't be complacent that everything has subsided)? What about Telengana (destroying public property has become an unavoidable feast for both the onlookers and miscreants alike nowadays)? Punjabis have been placated for the time being by putting a vile politician to the sword, and thank God Kashmiri majority just want sovereignty. And tragically/fortunately every state will have its own Amithab Bacchan ready to sell his/her conscience at the first given reasonable opportunity.

Not to the people who are staying outside Maharashtra but the non-marathis staying in Mumbai and daily facing the tortures of Shivsena, MNS and their followers, at least they will surely become anti-Mumbai if Thakrey is not controlled. If our government wants, he can control Thakrey within no time. I don't know why they are just wasting time in lectures. To teach the followers of Thakrey a lesson, I think just for two days why not all non maharashtrian people/businesses/taxis/Hotels etc etc abstain from work/ close their establishments in Mumbai so that an average, innocent marati maanus will know what effect it will have and will probably realise how the Sena is abusing their loyalty.Somebody like RSS should organise this

No. A handful of disgruntled people may not malaign the image of Mumbai. This is not possible. This city is the financial and business hub of India and will remain so. A city may not be responsible for acts of some. We must remember that a " City is not built in a DaY". So many people, even some from outside the state contributed for decades / years for growth and bring fame for this city ( and other cities ). This will be a sin to malaign its image. Differences, if any may be mitigated thru peaceful resolutions.

I think the media is unnecessarily sensationalising the foolish utterances of people who are irrelevant ! One of the headlines read "Big B praises Thackeray , Is there a rift in Bollywood ?" ! On reading the news item , there was absolutely nothing by which we could conclude whatever the headline insinuated. Amitabh had praised Bal Thackeray for his fit disposition even at his age ; a common courtesy accorded to an elder , following Thackeray's praise for Amitabh's role in a film. I think , as intelligent and responsible people , the best thing to do is not get swayed by all this news. I stayed in Mumbai for 12 years , and I never felt that the common man is in any way interested in the games politicians play. He is more interested in making a decent life for himself. Which will happen only if he keeps away from all this nonsense. Mumbai and India are both older than Thackeray , and I have no fear that they will outlive him , and his foolish successors / followers.

in no way. Sensible people will know that these so called narrow minded people are working for their own benifits. and still people will feel Mumbai is part of india and it is a city capable of accomodating any number of people and i found it to be safest city even in the night compared to other metros in india

I don't think so. No matter how much Thakrey and his political gundas try, whole India is against them. This issue will make we Indians "Anti Thakreys" but not "Anti mumbai". Everybody knows Mumbai is there because of stock market & Bollywood. Just imagine. If these things relocate to other place who will care for Maharastra... I feel sad for all the people who follow these Sena people...just for the sack of 100 to 200 rupees per day income they are spoiling not only there future but also there own family.
