Like all other newly formed ministries this ministry will also include some experts with some fresh contacts from big industries. An urge for development will at first reflect in core areas and the areas for development and modification. Like public health, mass education, law & order, industry and trade have also been a core area. As soon as the central fund is available I think the newly formed government must take an earnest attempt to develop these areas.

Yes,very much.Give Didi a breathing space and see the magic.Don't jump into the conclusion and pass judgement. She fought a battle against the Left mis rule for more than twenty years single handedly and won.Today I watched the oath taking ceremony live.A lot of talent and experienced personalities are in the ministry.I hope and believe she will deliver the goods.Let us pray for her success and cooperate. Obviously yes. Amit Mitra is a dynamic personality having been the Secretary-General of FICCI almost three decades should be able to provide healthy platform for industrialists in WB, if Didi agrees to go by the advice of him. No doubt, Ashim Dasgupta was a well-renowened economist and also a new-age thinker, but could not go solo without the support of the LEFT government in the past. Nandigram was a major mistake. This is time the country think of a uniform Land acquisition policy so that the marginal and poor farmers are not forced to give away their land for pittance!
