WE NEED TO DIFFERENTIATE BETWEEN COMMODITIES.FOR EXAMPLE BASE METALS SUCH AS COPPER,ZINC,ALUMINIUM,LEAD,NICKEL,ETC. YOU CAN SEE COOL DOWN OF PRICES IN THESE COMMODITIES. BUT THE COMMODITIES WHICH ARE INVERSELY RELATED TO THE ECONOMY LIKE GOLD , SILVER,ETC, WE CAN SEE INTRESTS  BUILDING UP IN THESE COMMODITIES.

I have seen Coffee prices fell sharply during the month of October in the context of the financial crisis that seems to be exerting downward pressures on virtually all commodity prices & the the fall in prices cannot be attributed to changes in the supply and demand balance.

My view - Prices will increase because of speculation, hoarding and expectation but once there is economic down turn there is nothing to speculate. So definitely prices will come down.
