Due to the booming Indian economy and improved standard of living India has started to win back the drained brains. A report says that about 60,000 immigrants from USA are returning back to India in a year. It is forecasted that one of five new immigrants and one of every three highly skilled employees are bound home wards. Will this reverse brain drain increase unemployment in India?

One mans geese is anothers GANDER... REVERSE BRAIN DRAIN!!

One mans Geese is anothers TURKEY... BRAIN DRAIN!!

Unemployemnt will increase in terms of local talent giving way to overseas experienced talent! Otherwise i really do not think that there will be such a huge impact as affordability of such overseas talent is not every corporates cup of tea!! But yes, it will certainly impact the developed and developing metros for sure.

Thanks for the referral :))

Reverse Brain Drain does not effect the employment , it rather improves.

1. The spending of their money creates lot of indirect and direct employment.

2.Our brains drained are aclaimed as job creators inforeign countries.

3. Many of the projects r not being completed in time in India due to shortage of skilled manpower, Managers.

4. In some states alloted  funds are not being used fully and in time and our rural infrastructure, urban infrastructure is suffering. Proven skilled brains can help us.

5.Brain Drain is an agony, Reverse Brain Drain is Welcome.

Reverse brain drain .... its not coming on its own..but is compelled to leave the countries where Indians are staying..this is because of recession, racism, and social culture.Believe me this is the fact...can anyone  tell me, when a person leaves a country to earn more money and experience and is sucessful in that part of the world then why will he come back...only a few reasons come in front...if the person is qualified and experienced and getting almost the same package in India, He/She is asked to quite the existing job and has no other option than to go back to India, has got some family contsraints, or is really a person who wants to serve his/her motherland.certainly reverse brain drain will cause unemployment in India.I am out of India and atleast from this part of the world I know what Indians think and want....no one is interested in going back...but have no choice when are compelled to(there are some exceptions).and when one is compelled to go back then to survive he/she will take up low salary jobs..which is a major reason why unemployment will increase.

Yes, the economic growth of India has attracted many people and countries especially Indians is foreign countries. So they have started returning back to India. Even though there is a boom and lot of opportunities for people in India, the migration of people or the immigrants who return from other countries will posses more skill and exposure than the people in India. So when the number of immigrants increases obviously the unemployment in India also increases. The reversal of brain drain in most cases is beneficial to the countries, but not for the  individuals.

I feel that rapid development of our economy has created opportunities galore and has thus resulted in reverse brain drain. As quoted by the 'Financial Express'a growing tide of 32,000 britons have already returned for a booming career. And with such growing opportunities and increased talent there will be more senior level executives who will go for entreprenureship. Also, according to NAASCOM, IT sector is still facing a shortage of IT professionals by 30%.

I dont think that the reverse brain drain will affect the job hunters currently in India. The job hunters, if freshers will not be affected as the reverse is for experienced people. The experienced will not be affected adversely due to one simple reason. People who left India are generally on a higher salary range than in India and wont return on lower pay checks. The reverse braindrain will bring back NRIs and they will bring back the experience earned in competitive and professional markets bringing new ideas and techniques which is required in making the giant leap that India is now trying to make.
