You can finally dump your mobile service provider and move to a better one without changing your present number.

A total of 700 million Indians use cell phones. With mobile number portability kicking in across the country on Thursday, many customers, especially pre-paid ones, might abandon ship. So, will you change your  mobile operator today?

I agree with Mr.Murthy. Airtel is providing a good service. In general, even customers can expect more from the service provider since its a time for a real competition among the service providers to retain their customer. If they don't, definitly service providers are going to miss their customers. Finally customer is the King

NO. Reasonably satisfied. No guarantee that the switched chap will continue to be better, Lot of chaps, and adverts are talking of say Aphone, and Bphone. But if so many chaps shift to a or B, does he have the infrastructure to support? Most chaps are growing faster than their infrastructure. That will be bad in the long run. You will keep changing.

Yes this is good news for all the customers out there, they can now opt better service, better plans and now even telecom providers will do everything so that they are retaining their major chunk of customers through many of their loyalty programmes which will be devised. But surely I will opt for someone where each and every paisa of mine is worth it and not just anybody who cheat by sending in some messages and even before you see what the message is and 30 Rs is slashed from  your account....its total cheating.

Yea true, from the beginning I'm using airtel and the service and for the better network I liked it. Definitely no question about changing.

When customer finds his operator is not satisfying his expectations he will swith over to another network.
