I don't say it as disadvantage but till it has not become an advantage in India. We have many technical issues as far as technology is concerned. And we don't have ample of opportunities too. So work from home is not a success in India for me.

People who worked from home do not know what is really going in the organisation. You could not show your perfomence directly to the top management.

According to my view working from home has many disadvantages the first and the biggest one is punctuality. A person who works from home becomes more lethargic untill and unless he has very strong will to work ...or towards his goals. Secondly the atmosphere is not that much favorable as that in office.Specially if kids are there at home. Yeh pooja also rightly said the technical issues.

I think work from home has no advantage. Although it saves time of travelling but its not easy to put your best into the work.It won't be easy to concentrate at home.Working outside home is far better because we can have working environment there and it will encourage us to work hard.

I think work from home is Beneficial   for those who cant go outside from their  house means who has'nt another option ,but when it comes to for all  ......I think it is not suitable.......by outside public  people gets  upto date  knowledge  which is very important for all....................but inside house may be it is not possible.....

As of now,  it is not fool proof way in our country.

But it may vary from people to people. Also it depends on the nature of the work. In the days to come, where the PAPERLESS offices are envisaged,  the conventional way of coming to offices and sticking to working hours may slowly VANISH.

Work from home is a good option for many individuals who have constraints doing full time work or where it does not make much of a difference if you work from home or office.

 However, adequate HR policies and technological issues apart from less widespread use of this mode of work option has ensured that this type of work is not widely adopted across the industry.
