It all depends on you. If you are good at your work and you are able to find clients then you will rock. This will need a lot of hard work and great deal of dedication.

myself a freelancer but i choose to work for any organization , because 1. no loans for you "DEAR" 2. TOTAL CHAOS (work when you are not sleeping and sleep when you are not working, i hardly get out of my place to see around) 3. creativity all the time?... not quite possible 4. i am not an entrepreneur yet. cant really poke the client and chase him for the paycheque all the time.

Freelance with your existing job, it is great. Like in Advt. almost all the creative people prefer doing freelance, as it ad quick buck. In case u r only dependent on freelance then u must have exceptional command on your work/ profession u r in, otherwise it will be difficult to exist.

diamond is diamond. either in the sand, in the rack or in the neck. What is important is to be diamond. So if you do quality of work no matter where you are, you will get what you want to get.

Honestly, if you have worked in an organization for couple of years and then are looking for freelance work it makes sense.

Reason being that you then would know the formal corporate culture and you will have backing of professional skill sets and expertise.

Work as freelancers always worth it as per my opinion, because if you have not job at that time you are doing work as freelancer, it will grow you,it will give addition in your ability, it shows that without job,you are activate yourself. Direct or indirect work as freelancer will always help us. You can analyse easy that many of our too step member are working freelancer. Initially do not look against earning. Your work will give you money automatically. Once when you will build up brand image as freelancer, after some time, people will give you money that you deserve. Thanks ms.Gargi for reference

Despite just being a fresher, I am wooed by the idea of working as a freelance. Did some research; Here's what I found out, Pros: 1. You choose when you work 2. You choose where you work 3. You choose what you work on 4. Make more money (If you get good clients) Cons: 1. Incoming work isn’t guaranteed 2. Inconsistent monthly income 3. You have to find new work on your own Would like some words from the experienced people on this.

At the end of the day, we would be more proud of achieving our goals rather than being happy to follow procedure. As already said, process may get in the way of innovation.
I bet every one of us face such situations everyday. Though following a process would be a recommended way to achieve targets, however, process may also hinder innovation.
