First it was Income Tax.. and now it is US employee accusing Infosys of visa, tax fraud. Still counting because once a thing comes out, more and more fraud stories start appearing. There was also a statement form a trainee's father when his daughter committed suicide in Infosys mysore campus and he stated it is not only her but many others who like her commit suicides due to pressure of training. (Though such news rarely come out). After all this Mr. Murthy said only one thing that such taxes should not be there!! Anyways he too will be retiring soon. So you think it is an end of Infosys era?

It will not end of Infosys era. It is purposely spread, & company is capable of handling any issue & always ready to take care of their employees. So please do not trust such rumors.

A look at Infosys' attrition rate in the year 2010 is revealing. The rate q-on-q hovered around 15% in Q2-Q4 and was around 8% in Q1. That works out to well about 50%. Remember that leavers are those who have experienced Infosys and have decided that they do not want to be in that organization. Should tell us something.

The company has grown big enough to fight against such small (yes it is small for them) issues. Only if some really big and concrete issues come out it will be a problem for the company.. not otherwise.

Neither attrition nor stress are limited to Infosys. As a corp. holistic stress management trainer, I have addressed hundreds of young techies in various ITES companies. While it is true that work in these companies is demanding, the ultimate stress level depends on how well one can cope with it. 90% of our stress comes not from what happens to us - deadlines, work pressures etc. - but from how we take it. When work pressures and lifestyle errors combine, it's a heady cocktail and this is what is killing people, slowly but surely. Quitting a job is not the solution, quitting unbalanced lifestyle (no exercise, wrong eating, inadequate sleep/rest, etc.)and egoistic attitudes, is the solution.

yes, its true that Infosys has a reverse turn towards its success and is facing such issues, but it doesn't mean to end of its era. this can be resolved by the time. So I would say A BIG NO.
