I happened to read Arindhams blog and here i got this post.Ps refer http://arindamchaudhuri.blogspot.com/2009/10/desirability-of-living-forever.html

A very thougth provoking article indeed.In fact i am a big fan of his thoguths and ideas.I can summarize it in two parts , first he goes on to say about the discovery that in the next few 20 years we will ahev the technology t send nanobots inside our human body and perfomr all the necessary operations we need to.This will actually make us free form all diseases and the whole ageing process will get revrsed thus making us live on and on and on.On this , where would the fun be in living ?

On a second note, dont we live our lives for our near and dear ones ?wouldn't we enjoy being there fo rour grandchildren and teach them what all life has to offer thereby implying that we take the nanobots inside us ?
