Though outsourcing is cost effective but it may lack quality, can give last minute surprises and at the end it wont have that kind of innovation as leadership would have

when ever the work is assigned to the third party, they should just carry out the work not to dominate. Giving leadership to a third party is losing our strength. Outsourcing is given to carry out the work only and not to manage

Leadership has many components that are complex and it is difficult to make a standard and outsource it. Work definitely can be specified and outsourced easily.

No one, but who doubts his own capabilities would vote for outsourcing leadership.

The managerial skills & advices can be shared & discussed at some point of times if necessary, but just having some others hands upon the decision making hierarchy is not a good idea.

Otherwise also outsourcing is in contest to the areas where cost effectiveness is the agenda & resource sharing a motive.

Intellect is no outsourcable !

outsourcing leadership in preference to outsourcing work may tend to handing over my own reins unto the hands of a stranger and getting the work, performance, productivity, and leadership, totally out of my own control.

India lacks good leadership but Indians are good at completing a task if properly guided and motivated. The British East India company knew this. so, if somebody can control, perform, produce and lead better than what I will be able to do, then I do not mind hand over the leadership to him.

Outsourcing is something equivalent to have food outside rather than get prepared in your own kitchen . Each job is different and has its own peculiarity and uniqueness and it needs different application , they are not generalized . I have been experiencing the inadequacies of outsourcing when the help desk people for banks are not able to go beyond a limit and hence unable to solve problem . Most importantly every client , every job requires individual attention based upon his background and do u really believe outsourcing gives you that special interaction . Definitely you should have in house apparatus to deal with each job barring a few like couriering mails .
