Yahoo Search Gets a Makeover: Is it all over for Yahoo in terms of search?

Yahoo even after their deal with Microsoft, and yahoo search was powered by bing and later a complete change was denied by them, and now after the deal between both of them earlier.

Now there are reports which suggests that  Yahoo has revamped its search results page. And now the search page looks like totally different from that of bing . Some of the changes are like, Left hand navigation, exploring related concepts, people search.

And what is more important here is that Yahoo has launched 100 million campaign of its own for the and it is focusing on the same notion that Carol Bartz is intent on sending across to everyone. That Yahoo is a value and entertainment destination and it offers everything to everyone and not just search. With Google the topper and Bing slowly catching up, and with so much happening in Yahoo with its search it will be all over for them with search.

I think its all over for Yahoo interms of  search and it wasn't long ago that people started predicting Yahoo Search's doomed future. And also the fact that its new CEO was hard selling the fact that yahoo is not a search company and that it is instead a value portal did not help the cause at all. And seriously how many of us use apart from Google other search engine, in a way Bing is different and people are also going, and apart from that it is hard for Yahoo in search market at the moment.

   The makeover done by yahoo in terms of search engine is good. It is very easy to use and understand. Since people prefer google and now slowly bing for searching, I feel that the changes made by yahoo is up to the mark. Because it of no use to focus on search engines when no one is going to use it.
