Karnataka Chief Minister Mr.Yeddiyurappa looks so dedicated to tepmples, very recently it appeared in the local daily that CM of karnataka visited a temple in Chikmanglore in South Canara and offered prayers and donations, few weeks ago he visited Kannur in kerala to offer prayers and donate a building to a local temple there. Somewhre in early 2009 he doanated an elephant at Rajarajeswari teple in Taliparamba in Kerala and so on. Is these are politically motivated? share your thoughts in this connection.

I think this is a clear picture. The Hindus of India are agry on politics & government since they feel they are against Hinduism. In this case, any step in favour for Hindus will make Mr.Yeddiyurappa a hero for Hindus and he'll get the majority of Hindu votes without losing the other communities. Nice marketing of himself. Its all pure politics to get votes.

Support Yash here to a large extent. It is a politically governed strategy.

y u guys think like that?if a cm goes to temples ,it is politically motivated and if he goes to churches, mosques is he secular?dont look too much into this matter.he is a hindu he is doing his birthright. when he is doing all-round development, these debates shouldn't arise.

It may not be politically motivated because he was engaed in such social welfare activities even before becoming the CM of Karnataka, he is deeply engaged in national well being.
