We validated Back office through the GUI interface and provided the information about its functioning from our testing on the GUI interface. A new credit card authentication process when select credit cards are used, to identify the cardholder. The inclusion of the CVV2 code for all credit card purchases and real-time authorization when this code is used, to ensure requested funds are available. This initial effort is intended for use by all RCI.com user types within POW or WOW European Office Codes. Completion of this project allows RCI to avoid fines when authentication is not performed, and surcharges for authorizations that dont include the CVV2 code, by credit card issuing companies within this RCI region. Once implemented, RCI is provided with the framework to handle new authentication and authorization guidelines set by other credit card companies in other RCI regions in the future. Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) from Tamil Nadu and Kerala have developed process or product technologies through rigorous R and D efforts. Some of the SMEs are working on the technologies imported and then redesigned to suit to the Indian standards. These technologies have been well established and fully commercialized and can be offered to entrepreneurs in some of the other developing countries. Following were the aims of the study: To collect information about the technology used in manufacturing units from small and medium enterprises in the states of Tamil Nadu and Kerala in select export oriented industry sectors. To prepare profiles of exportable technologies/ projects based on the survey, highlighting company profile as well as techno-commercial details of technology/project.
