Universal Money Management by phone. See detailed article in the following link. http://wp.me/p1ZsI2-4g Money through Mobile (MTM) is an effective tool to realize Financial Inclusion of people in the lower strata across the country. There is a need to urgently implement unbanking and non- internet dependent solutions to realize financial inclusion of people in the lower social and economic strata. Government should quickly focus to realize this with readily available contemporary technology systems and networks without endlessly waiting for the perfect solutions and eco system to happen. Nearly 4 decades ago. As a 21 plus, recently commissioned second lieutenant (2/Lt) I found myself posted to a field area in my first unit comprising Sikh troops. There was loads to be learnt - no formal syllabus - no appointed instructors - little in terms or guidelines - one was required to know just about everything - all by yesterday - multitasked to the hilt. I had no office. Most of the time was spent with the troops - training grounds, sports fields, firing ranges, cookhouses dining halls, equipment stores, living lines. Our troops my constant companions –- interactions with the officers (all seniors) was limited to a few minutes in a day - comprising highly formal exchanges (with me ...

Soft Power. Joseph Nye is known as the father of the concept. He defines soft power as: “Power is the ability to affect others to obtain the outcomes you want. One can affect their behavior in three main ways: threats of coercion (“sticks”); inducements or payments (“carrots”) and attraction that makes others want what you want. A country may obtain the outcomes it wants in world politics because other countries want to follow it, admiring its values, emulating its example, aspiring to its level of prosperity and openness.” Importance of Soft Power . One could go on and on and on. How important is sft power may be imagined from the fact that in an address to the party, Chinese president, ...

What goes around comes around :- A frail old man went to live with his son, daughter-in- law 4 year old grandson. The old man's hands trembled, his eyesight was blurred, and his step faltered. The family ate together every night at the table. But the elderly grandfather's shaky hands failing sight made eating difficult. Peas rolled off his spoon onto the floor. When he grasped the glass, milk spilled on the tablecloth. The son daughter-in- law became irritated with the mess. 'We must do something about father,' said the son. 'I've had enough of his spilled milk, noisy eating food on the floor.' So the husband wife set a small table in the corner. There Grandfather ate alone while the rest of t...

Hello everyone! I know it has been long time since I came on Toostep but now that I am back I want to talk about a paper I recently found while I was searching about Women achievers. Though there are few women in this field and there is a dire need to educate women and encourage them to make their way to the top in such fields leaving behind the bottlenecks. Women Achievers Please go through this link for the complete paper. What are your thoughts about women who work for researches in technology field? Have a great day ahead!

What is stopping you from getting what you want in life? Your friends? Your family? A sense that failure – or success – might change your life and that feeling uncomfortable? A sense that the people around you might disapprove of you aiming for what you want, of you succeeding or failing. Essentially it boils down to fear. The big roadblock, sometimes the massive wall in the middle of road that keeps you from getting what you want. How to overcome it? Here´s some useful ways I have found so far. 1. Taking small steps This is good for fear that can seem overwhelming at first. For instance the strong feeling – it can almost feel like a flight or fight-response – just before doing public spea...

in Share 21 Twitter’s limited customization abilities are a good thing, many would say, and lagging traffic numbers on sites that allow free-for-all customization (such as MySpace ) might just support that belief. In any case, Twitter does require Tweeters to think outside the box if they want to stand out. And just as with everything you do with your business, it’s important to make an impression. Some of the best Twitter pages, as you would expect, are those of designers, graphic artists, and the like. But you don’t have to be a creative type to make a cool Twitter page. With the abundance of customization tools out there (we’ve listed a few below), it’s never been easier to strut y...

This message is for all those who have been posting on their walls and in all the communities , sending via sms and mailing that 1098 picks up wasted food. THEY DO NOT! http://www.childlineindia.org. in/ You can see they themselves have denied this on their official website. Please spread this message and check out the website to know the other ways through which you can help. 2.
