generally we dont pay attention to what are we training for.... I dont doubt intelligence of people but we need research to prove if the training decision we have taken is correct or not.....? so to train knowing what to train is half the battle...

We should not talk about gender when we work as a Team ... Do we do the same in our own Family ? The Team leader has to take care of team member and need to understand the behaviour/ attitude etc. also make them understand importance of Team.
